Did you have a chance to see Martha Stewart on the Today show being interviewed by Matt Lauer? I thought it was a great interview and I love her openness about aging and looking for romance. I have to say that I have very active parents who have aged beautifully as well. Watching them live a good life, healthy and active, has been very inspiring. As I age I want to do all I can to maintain my health and be active.
There are two areas that I am continually assessing: my waistline and my exercise.
I will admit that my waist is a little thicker than I care for at this point. It’s not a problem yet but it continues to thicken each year. I need to put some focus on it.
Right now I am loving my yoga classes and getting a lot out of them. I do need to increase my cardio as well. I seem to be able to either do cardio OR yoga but not both. I need to prioritize and get them both into my regular routine.
The important thing is to keep finding inspiration to stay active and healthy as I age.
